Consider adding dxvk-native, vkd3d-utils for native Direct3D/HLSL support
Next week FNA will be announcing introductory support for Linux-native Direct3D 11 support, which uses dxvk for D3D11 support and vkd3d for its native HLSL compiler. While we could bundle these things statically into the application, it seems like a better idea to have OSes and containers package these specific libraries, for roughly the same reason we prefer to have the OS provide ICDs for other graphics APIs (except for maybe ANGLE).
With these features added to the Steam runtime, all games on Steam using FNA 23.04 or newer will be able to use dxvk for rendering with native Linux binaries, while also getting updates to the D3D11 runtime and HLSL compiler in parallel to the game itself. This would also be helpful for Source 1 games that have exposed the -vulkan
launch option, as well as other games that may choose to use dxvk-native for Linux support.
