check-vulkan may fail even if Vulkan games are working
There have been at least two users srsi reports with a x11/vulkan
that fails with a segmentation fault.
The first user mentioned that he is able to play games "such as RDR2 or Cyberpunk 2077 on Ultra without any issues". This would suggest that only the automated Vulkan test is somehow failing.

Both of them were using a Nvidia GPU, but at this point it is not clear whether this is just a coincidence or not.
The second user has a "Segmentation fault" for both i386 and x86_64, while the first user shows two different errors:
